24 Hour Complimentary Cancellation Window | 10% Fee After 24 Hours
Out of State Moving Companies allows free cancellations up to 24 hours after you’ve booked your move. There is a 10% cancellation fee for cancellations that occur over 24 hours after booking.
Why the fees?
When a move is scheduled, it means space is reserved with a carrier, and our movers immediately begin mapping out truck routes and schedules that work best for your move. This means blocking off a lot of time and space, and missing out on other moves.
Once you book your move, Out of State Moving Companies provides a complimentary 24 hour window to cancel your reservation, free of charge. No harm, no foul, no questions. If you need to cancel, please submit your cancellation request by phone or in writing within 24 hours of your booking.
Please note: After the complimentary 24 hour window has passed, a 10% cancellation fee applies for all customer-requested cancellations.
As a courtesy, a credit for your cancellation fee will remain on file and may be applied towards a future move, as long as the move is picked up within twelve (12) months of your initial booking date, and the move is arranged by Out of State Moving Companies.
